At Gowanlea we follow Care inspectorate Guidance in respect of administering medication, a copy of this guidance can be found on the parent notice board. If your child does require medication while at nursery, please speak to the staff in your child’s room.
You will be required to give written permission for us to administer medication, all medication provided must be in the name of the child and be in date. If it is a prescribed medication it must be current, if a medication provided does not meet the guidance we will not be able to administer it.
